It looks almost exactly like a Tartan 30 with a upswept overhanging stern glued on. It only weighs 2,000 pounds more about a thousand of which is in the keel. WebNov 2, 2015 · 0. Discussion Starter · #1 · Oct 30, 2015. I am the new owner of a 1985 Tartan 34-2. The boat is in Seattle, so it rains all winter. In two places, starboard bow and port midship, there are leaks in the hull deck joint. It appears that the leaks are not coming from the screws. There is an aluminum toe rail with screws every 6 inches or so.
