And no idea what this process thinks it is doing. Obviously the only way to stop this nonsense is to hard kill the process (kill -9) and then uninstall it (!!), at least that is what I have read in another thread. comfort pillow itch.io

WebJun 26, 2024 · I revisited the resource manager to validate my change. However, the changes don’t come through. In fact, the re-indexing process continues to use high disk IO. But that makes sense. I only disabled the version control, not the index process. You can see the indexing status is still “Indexing”. So the next thing to do is disable indexing. WebJul 31, 2024 · Disable the indexing service. As mentioned here, the indexing service can consume quite a bit of RAM/memory and CPU on your Synology unit.
