Webb22 feb. 2012 · You should be able to remove startup items by using the msconfig tool. This can be done by going to Start->Run->msconfig and then press enter. From there, go to the Startup tab, and uncheck whatever programs you would not like to run at startup. Be careful on what you uncheck and do not uncheck an item if you do not know what it is.
