While I'm not in any way disappointed in the guitar (playability, feel, or tone), the Broadtron pickups don't quite have the sparkle of the Filtertrons. And I kinda miss that, and it has me thinking of picking up one or two TV Jones Broadtrons for it.

At least, the chance existing is undoubtable. It may be a bit of the same here - a filtertron will sound like a filtertron, and any other type of pickup will be closer or further, but the attempt of making a onecoil pickup sound like a twocoil pickup will never be close to perfection.
