Web17 jun. 2010 · The Jetty configuration used has been optimized to be a general purpose application server and HTTP server for large numbers of mostly idle connections. Given this disparity, I think it is great that Jetty was able to able to achieve similar and sometimes better performance in some of the scenarios. WebThe Jetty HttpClient is an ideal basis for building a load generator, as it is asynchronous and can be used to simulate many thousands of connections (see the Cometd Load Tester for a good example of a realistic load generator).
