WebApr 25, 2011 · In reality for transfers within the Halifax group, I've no doubt they could do it in about 3 seconds. What is 'shocking' is that banks such as Halifax can get away with this. They use BACS to transfer cash from your dealing account to your nominated bank account. A BACS transfer takes 3 working days. WebAwful Halifax Share Dealing. A company in my Halifax ISA portfolio was taken over in July and new shares were issued to Halifax in the new company in August. After 3 months and 3 ~30 minute phone calls I still get the same answer, Halifax have the shares but they are working on transfering them to my account. Absolutely pathetic.
