Don't let it get wet because the chrome starts rusting pretty bad. I had it on a cold air intake and it would get splashed every once in a while. I would probably reuse it (wash it) once maybe twice if you want to push it and then just get a new one. Don't expect this to be a lifetime filter like K&N. Helpful
